Background
SAGE Chai Wan Multi-service Centre for the Elderly first commenced service in June, 1979, being the first of multi-service centre established in Hong Kong with government subvention. The centre was later upgraded to the SAGE Chai Wan District Elderly Community Centre for the Elderly in April 1, 2003 under the Exercise of Re-engineering Community Support Service for elderly initiated by the Social Welfare Department.
Mission & Vision
To provide a full range of support services to healthy, vulnerable and frail elderly living in the community and family carers, so as to enable elders to continue living in the community.
