Environmental Association

Started in 1997, the Environmental Association Limited is a registered non-profit and non-governmental charity established by Dr. Yau Wing Kwong JP. Our aim is to promote nature conservation, environmental protection and provide a platform for the community and individuals alike to participate in its work. The organization was named Tai Po Environmental Association before changing its name to its current form. Presently, our members include professionals, environmental and conservationists, members of the academia, students and members of the general public. Our biggest driver and support of our work comes from the community, as their participation and motivation this NGO to do better in our conservation and education work. We currently have four centres echoing our Butterfly Effect in Hong Kong: 1.Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve Centre 2.Tai Po Geoheritage Centre 3.E-wise Centre, Lam Tuen 4.Community Plastic and Recycling Centre
