Background

“Food Grace" Food Recycling Scheme is established since 2009 with the aim of solving environmental problems, creating green jobs and relieving the financial burden of the grass-roots. For the past years, Food Grace has been collecting unsold vegetables and fruits, as well as unsellable but still edible food in the market. The collected food is processed and prepared as delicious, nutritious and yet inexpensive lunches for the unemployed, while some food is given to the needy and community groups such as senior homes, sheltered workshops, etc.

Mission & Vision

「食德好」希望充當一道食物分享的橋樑，將業界商販及社區連繫在一起，把廚餘和過剩的食物轉化為美好的禮物。我們創造綠色就業，聘任區內的基層人士擔任食物回收隊，到街市商戶及生產商收集過剩的蔬果和完好食物，並直接轉贈予社區有需要的市民及團體。無論環境問題，或是貧窮問題，整個社會都要面對；我們希望集結社區，商界力量，一起對抗以上問題。
