Transgender Equality Hong Kong

Established in 2020, we are a young NGO founded by a group of transpeople who are passionate about advancing LGBT+ equality, in particular transgender equality, in Hong Kong. We are not affiliated to any political parties or any corporations. We are an autonomous organisation who puts the need of LGBT+ people first. We work on public education, policy research, community support and other impactful work that would help further the goal of LGBT+ equality. Although we are still very young as an organisation, we have already appeared in local and overseas media such as RTHK, Ming Pao, Joy 94.9 (Australia), and we have delivered talks, interviews and forums at Universities and firms like HKU, CUHK, Ralph Lauren, Bank of America and beyond. We also run community support groups and events for the benefits of transgender people. In addition, we have an active presence on social media for regular engagement with the general public.
