The ageing population in Hong Kong has reached 20.5% in 2021 and is projected to increase to 36% by 2046 out of the 8.19 million HK citizens. The need for elderly care will continue to rise. To address this societal trend, in collaboration with The Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council Shamshuipo District Elderly Community Centre, we are currently recruiting HKUST volunteers to facilitate a school tour and engage in games with the elderly, demonstrating our love and care.
