“Sensory Restaurant on Wheels™” is an award-winning program that aims to recreate a nostalgic and immersive Chinese dim sum experience for elders living with dementia or swallowing difficulties to improve elders’ appetite, provide cognitive stimulation of the five senses and provide a joyful, interactive experience. We are currently seeking volunteers to support the event's logistics, engage with the elderly and lead them on vibrant campus tours. You will assume roles as managers, receptionists and waiters, to assist with seating, serving tea, delivering food, evoking the sweet and cherished “yum cha” memories for the older people. Together, let's create a tapestry of inclusivity and warmth that resonates with everyone involved. 「流動五感大茶樓™」是一項為患有腦退化症、有吞嚥困難的長者和人士而設的體驗式懷舊點心活動，希望以「五感」來營造懷舊茶樓的環境及氛圍，以及提供不同質感的精緻點心（正餐、碎餐、軟餐），提升腦退化症長者的食慾及提供多元的感官刺激，同時為他們帶來一場愉悅、互動的社交體驗。 我們將在科大舉辦一場「科大流動五感大茶樓」，邀請將軍澳一班患有吞嚥困難的長者及其照顧者享用精緻美味的點心軟餐，一同體驗不同的飲食選擇、維持有尊嚴飲食。現正招募義工協助「科大流動五感大茶樓」活動進行，打扮成茶樓部長、知客和夥計等不同角色，為長者帶位、開茶和上菜，與長者互動交流，一同感受飲食帶來的感動及喜悅，了解他們的生活日常和挑戰，並帶領他們遊覽校園，實踐共融、傳遞溫暖。 Briefing: Date: 2 May 2025 (Fri) Time: 4:30 - 5:30pm Venue: HKUST Campus Service: Date: 3 May 2025 (Sat) Time: 11am - 2:45pm Gathering Time & Venue: 11am @HKUST Campus # You are required to attend the whole service program, including Briefing, Service & Debriefing.

To receive 4.75 hours, you must attend the event in full and miss no more than 10 mins. 3.
