In this service, you will visit Love Cats Everyday’s shelter in Kwun Tong to understand the organization’s work and challenges ahead. You will assist the NGO's staff in cleaning the shelter and cages; and have the chance to show love and care to the 4-legged feline friends which are pending for adoption. 香港人多擠逼，同時亦住著成千上萬的流浪貓，更有市民遺棄的小動物，當中有部分有幸得到愛貓日子援救，提供糧食、醫療、及領養等服務。你會到訪機構位於觀塘的貓舍，協助清潔貓舍和貓籠、與貓隻互動，並了解機構的工作及所面對的挑戰。 Date: 24 Oct 2025 (Fri) Time: 10:10am - 12:30pm Gathering Time & Venue: 10:10am @Kwun Tong # You are required to attend the whole service program, including Briefing, Service & Debriefing.

1. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from connect@ust.hk, and will be able to find their application status listed as "Confirmed" on the Social Career portal/app. 2. Volunteers should not be afraid of cats and should have no allergies to animals. 3. Volunteers should be ready to clean the cat shelter and animal excrement, and perform other duties as assigned by the association to ensure safety. 4. Casual wear, long pants and sneakers are recommended. You may also bring an extra set of clean clothes for changing if needed. 5. [Penalty for withdrawal after 19 Oct and/or absence] This service is fully subsidized by Comfort Paws Program. If you are unable to participate in the program as scheduled, you should send us a written notification to connect@ust.hk no later than 19 Oct 2025 (Sun). Participants who withdraw from the Program after 19 Oct 2025 or are absent from the Program will be charged an HKD120 program fee. 6. [HMAW1905] This is a recognized event in the “Personal Enrichment & Community Service” category under the "Self-directed Experience" of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. To receive 2 hours, you must attend the event in full and miss no more than 10 mins. 7.
