Be a part of the EMBRACE project organized by students from Connect ACE Program, which aims to build meaningful connections and promote social inclusion for ethnic minorities (EM) in Hong Kong. In collaboration with Hong Kong Christian Service- the Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER), this initiative seeks to prevent feelings of exclusion and isolation among EM individuals while fostering a sense of belonging within the community. Through mingling sessions, team-building exercises, and community service projects, you will not only help bridge cultural gaps but also develop valuable skills in communication, teamwork, and empathy.
We are currently seeking volunteers to mingle with a group of EM children, aged 9-12, and lead them in hiking trail cleaning and elderly centre visiting. Join us and be part of creating unforgettable moments of joy and cultural exploration!
