*This opportunity requires participants to be proficient in Cantonese. HKUST Connect is collaborating with Sai Kung Sung Tsun Catholic School (Secondary Section) to provide homework tutorial and learning support for the students with learning challenges or special education needs. We are currently recruiting volunteers to assist S1- S3 students. Volunteers will help the students review the homework and study materials from class, fostering a supporting and engaging learning environment. 為了協助初中學生更有效地適應學習環境的改變，科大侍學行現正與西貢崇真天主教學校(中學部)合作，為這些面臨學習挑戰或有特殊教育需求的中一至中三學生提供功課輔導和學習支援。現招募科大同學協助學生複習課堂上的功課和學習材料，以營造一個支持和互動的學習環境。 Briefing Date: 19 Feb 2025 (Wed) Time: 3:30-4pm Venue: Online Via Zoom Service Date: 24 Feb, 3 & 10 & 17 Mar 2025 (Mon) Time: 3:45 -5:30pm Venue: Sai Kung *Priority will be given to those who can participate in more sessions. # You are required to attend the whole service program, including Briefing, Service & Debriefing.

1. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email from connect@ust.hk, and will be able to find their application status listed as "Confirmed" on the Social Career portal/app. 2. [HMAW1905] This is a recognized event in the "Self-directed Experience" component of HMAW1905: Behavioral Foundations of University Education: Habits, Mindsets, and Wellness. To receive your participated hours, you must attend the registered sessions in full and miss no more than 10 mins. 3. Upon completion of the service, the actual service hours will be subjected to the confirmation of the partner association. 4. Transportation subsidies will be provided to successful applicants who completed at least 2 tutorial sessions.
