Every day, while one million people live in poverty struggling to afford nutritious meals, 3,600 tonnes of food waste are sent to landfills in Hong Kong. In Bread Run, volunteers will visit bakeries right before its closing time to pick up surplus bread and bring them to the food bank at Yau Tong.
