*This opportunity requires participants to be proficient in Cantonese. Approximately 214,000 people in Hong Kong live in subdivided flats, with a median per capita living space of only 65 square feet. They face problems of insufficient living space and weak support network. Volunteers will assist The Salvation Army Shamshuipo Family Support Networking Team to visit Sham Shui Po needy groups from door to door, including the socially withdrawn and the elderly living on their own. Through this visit, you will introduce community and support services available to the less privileged and most importantly, show your care and support for those in need. 全港約有21.4萬人居於劏房，人均居住面積中位數僅得65平方呎，居住空間不足，支援網絡薄弱。你將會協助救世軍深水埗家庭支援網絡隊將以逐家逐戶形式(俗稱「洗樓」)，主動接觸深水埗區內有需要的社群，如隱蔽家庭、獨居長者等，向他們介紹社會資源及支援服務，並送上關懷。 Date: 18 Sep 2025 (Thu) Time: 6-9pm Gathering Time & Venue: 5:45pm @Sham Shui Po # You are required to attend the whole service program, including Briefing, Service & Debriefing.
