Summer Secondhand Pop-up+: We will be running a secondhand pop-up shop to resell a small portion of the sorted clothes to contribute to the circular economy in Hong Kong and support Redress' goal to reduce textile waste going to landfill. Volunteers will help setting up for the event, steam and hang clothes, keep the clothing racks tidy and help packdown the event.  Event set-up Days : 1. Helping set up the Pop-up shop 2. Hanging, ironing and steaming clothes Event days: 1. In the back-of-house area: - Hanging, ironing and steaming clothes - Organising clothes on different rails 2. On the shop floor: - Replenishing and tidying up the shop floor - Welcoming customers and direct them to the different areas of the shop Pack Down Days: - Organising materials in boxes to various locations - Packing clothes in boxes You may see below our upcoming sessions and sign up here. Remarks: 1. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age 2. Please dress casually with closed-toe shoes and bring your own bottle of water 3. Redress staff may take photos to record the activity for the purpose of sharing and promoting the charity's work. Please inform a staff member on-site if you are uncomfortable with being photographed. 4. After their slot is completed, all volunteers benefit from a 10% discount at the pop-up shop (during opening hours)
