PILnet has 5 key areas of service:
)Building Legal Capacity for NGOs: We have a Hong Kong Clearinghouse, which is a matchmaking platform that pairs up NGOs with legal needs with lawyers and law firms seeking to do pro bono work.
)Promoting Public Interest Law in Law Schools: We work with law schools to create tailored programs to promote public interest law.
)Organizing Legal Workshops for NGOs and the Community: We partner with law firms and NGOs to host workshops on legal topics of interest to NGOs such as: Section 88 applications, criminal law, and legal considerations for social enterprises.
)Designing Programs to Strengthen Community Legal Services: We engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop legal programs that benefit the community.
)Providing Legal Education: We collaborate with community partners, law students, and law firms to develop curriculum to provide legal education for the low-income and vulnerable community.
